Judge embarrassed to hear 13 lawyers' bail plea

 

A High Court judge Thursday felt embarrassed to hear the bail petition of 13 lawyers accused of assaulting police and preventing the latter from their duties at the court Tuesday.
The bench of Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Anwarul Haque were hearing the bail petition.
Justice Nazrul Islam said at one stage of the hearing one of them felt embarrassed to hear the petition.
He, however, did not disclose the reason for feeling embarrassed or name of the judge.
