EID-RAMADAN Vacations for schools, colleges declared

Dhaka, July 31 (bdnews24.com) — The education ministry has declared Eid-ul-Fitr and Ramadan vacations for high schools from Aug 4 to Sept 7 and colleges from Aug 16 to Sept 7.

Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid spelled out the vacation schedule at a press conference on Sunday.

He also declared vacation for madrasas from Aug 2 to Sept 10 and for vocational institutions from Aug 16 to Sept 7.

Nahid said the vacation for primary schools will be declared by the primary and mass education ministry, while the universities will announce their own vacations.
